Trivia: The infamous streaker incident during the Oscar telecast occured as David Niven was introducing Elizabeth Taylor to present the Best Picture Academy Award. Julia Phillips was the first woman to win a Best Picture Oscar for producing The Sting.

Quote: "If one is going to gamble with cheats, then one must be able to cheat better than they."

The Newman Factor: The poker scene aboard the train is by far Newman's best work. Completely a 10.

Rating: I was raised on this movie, but you can't fully appreciate it until you understand it. It's smart, funny and you have to watch closely for the slight of hand.
